Update: March 1st, 2009
I am currently checking into the cost to upgrade the account so members can edit and/or delete postings. As I have
mentioned, this is a non profit website, so I can not really afford to incur too much expense. I still feel this website is
a wonderful idea, especially with times getting even tougher. Until then, please email me and let me know when an item is
no longer available or you want a comment deleted. Be sure to let me know which State it's under.
Growing the garden of your dreams can be expensive! But, within this site you can swap your excess plants for a variety
you don't yet have. If your garden is growing out of control, you can share items instead of disposing of them. Your
generousity during these tough economic times could really be appreciated. These days, its rare to find
things for free and help out the environment at the same time. Recycle and Reuse! :)

"One man's trash is another man's treasure…" and so it goes with plants! If you just can't stand to have another
day lily in your yard… someone else is just dying to plant 5 of them! I once saw 2 women fighting over 'Marsh
Marigolds' which are considered an ugly bog weed by others! What may be common to you can be special to others
We
are coming up on the one year anniversary of this website. It went well last year, no negative feedback at all, only positive!!!!
So, please forward this site to as many people as you can, that way there will be a large amount of items available
=) Also, the more people that are aware of it, the better success it will be for you. This is a free, no profit for
me website. It was started to help people like me that enjoy gardening.
When you locate an item you would like, or someone is looking for something that you would like to share, contact that
person to make arrangements.
I have had a request to add some environmental warnings. This website is intended for swapping of plants with
local gardeners. It is hazardous to move plant species throughout the nation. It is important to keep native plants
in their areas. Thank you :)
